Pricing is determined by the grade of wood.  Exhibition being the most expensive and one of a kind.  Our next most beautiful grade of wood is Premier we basically have 5 different grades.  Pricing is also determined by the rarity of the figure of wood in each sub species of maple.  For instance Birdseye maple exhibition grade would be the most expensive than either quilted, curly hard maple or quilted big leaf maple would be next most expensive sub species of wood.  Every once in a while you get a combination of rare figure such as curly and Birdseye also an unusual pattern called snowflake.  In addition some of the very high figured spalted maple in curl or Birdseye is also our highest priced.  Range in prices goes from $300 which shows some very nice figure to $1500 which is one of a kind exceptional blanks.  Some of these are some of the finest we have ever cut.  Remember we are a small operating sawmill with a lot of knowledge in figured maples and you are buying directly from a small Mom & Pop operation with no middleman brokers.  A lot of dealers want to buy from us wholesale for such rare wood and increase the price 700% but be assured you are buying the "Best of the Best" and directly from us.  On direct pricing you need to let us know what you are looking for and will provide photos and prices our inventory is too large too take pictures of every piece of wood.
